A fine and beautifully-fitted Regency rosewood WRITING BOX in excellent condition.

This very well figured rosewood box is edged in brass with brass inlaid lines; shaped (vacant) cartouche to the lid and recessed military-style handles to the sides. It opens to reveal the fine interior with the pair of high quality ink bottles; brass-inlaid (removable) pen tray; twin brass-inlaid lidded compartments and two excellent secret drawers.

Beautifully lined and in immaculate condition. Complete with original outer Bramah key and inner keys ~ both working. 18ins wide; 11ins deep; 6ins high.
