A Small Copper and Brass Lantern

1900 - 1920
Description

Circa 1920-1940 a beautifully made copper lantern with the original pale yellowy/soft brown coloured glass panels - the colour is more subtle than may appear in the photographs.

It measures 26cm in height without the chain, the top is approximately 18cm square and there is 10cm of original brass chain.

Around the top are three brass 'studs' on each section and a brass fitting at the very top holding the chain.

The panels of glass are complete and the copper is in good condition without any signs of damage or repair.
