Victorian Solid Sterling Silver Milk Cream Jug

Description

A fine example of an antique Sterling Silver milk or cream jug. It is a small delicate size with a round foot, ornate handle and detailed rim. It is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 81g.

It is hallmarked for George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, Birmingham, 1894. It is slightly rubbed but still distinguishable.

It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint marks and spots of tarnishing and a few light surface marks and minor dinks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.
