Description

Beautiful French marble top chest of drawers c.1840. Original grey marble top with rounded corners and a moulded edge over four long drawers. With strikingly figured walnut veneers of particularly good colour arranged in a symmetrical pattern across the front. Shallow top drawer with shaped front, moulded surround around the three larger drawers, thumb moulded plinth veneered. Solid walnut sides and oak drawer linings. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Original locks and escutcheons, keys supplied.
