Impressive Regency Drop-dial Wall Clock

Description

An impressive and splendid quality Regency period "drop-dial" WALL CLOCK. The case features a slender mahogany surround to the cast brass bezel; inlaid brass scrollwork to the trunk flanked by carved "ears" and a curved door to the brass-inlaid base.

The eight-day fusee movement has shaped plates and a beautiful painted 12-inch convex dial signed with the maker, James Mills of Dundee. Perfect working order and complete with its original very high quality long pendulum and winding key. 23ins high overall; 14ins wide; 5.5ins deep. Highly recommended.
