A Fabulous Victorian Silver & Cranberry Ink Stand

A fabulous late Victorian silver ink stand. This fine and usable piece has a cranberry cut glass ink bottle mounted on a boat shaped base, with four reeded and shell legs. The body has a fitted glass ink bottle in stunning cranberry glass. The stopper is cut with a star, whose lines are echoed through the body and the base has a locating lug for stability. A superb Victorian example, both practical and excellent for dressing a desk. Dimensions below.
