Stunning Antique English Sterling Silver Jewelry Box - Reynold's Angels

Description

A wonderful and top-notch of a silver jewellery or ring box featuring the famous "Reynold's Angels" repousse decoration to the top.

What makes this better than the norm is the superb quality with the cast reticulated sterling border applied to the hinged lid; the cast legs too are most attractive and of excellent quality.

The interior is lined in a navy blue silk & velvet. The underside is where the full hallmark can be found for Birmingham 1906, making this a true Edwardian example and 104 years old. The makers mark is also present for the Boots Pure Drug Company.

Highly decorative in excellent condition, measuring 4 1/2" x 3 1/8" x 1 3/4" tall.
