Description

A good quality Edwardian figured mahogany double sided pedestal desk. The cross banded and inverted breakfront top having reeded canted corners and 3 sections of very good tooled leather with blind and gilt tooling. One side having 9 graduated and cock beaded drawers with pierced brass back plate handles. The reverse with 3 dummy drawers and 2 cupboards which have panelled doors, applied mouldings and shelfed interiors. The pedestals raised on off set shaped bracket feet. The whole in very good condition, fully cleaned and waxed, solid oak linings throughout and working brass locks and keys. Ready for the home or office. Dimensions:- Height ...31’’/ 79cm.
