Arts & Crafts Style Oak Hall Stand C.1900.

Description

Arts & Crafts style oak hall stand c.1900. With six double hooks for hats and coats etc arranged around a bevelled and adjustable mirror with a small shelf below. Over a glove box with a lift-up lid flanked by stick or umbrella stands with removable metal drip trays in the base. Striking Art Nouveau design details to the cornice and the hooks, more typically Arts & Crafts style to the slats and the square pommels atop the front stiles. Please note the lower hooks on both sides are later replacements. Some minor tarnish to the mirror, otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
