Christofle French Silver Plate Meat Food Cover Domes

Description

This pair of fabulous French silver plated food covers are by renowned French silversmith Christofle so are excellent quality, are a good heavy gauge and date from c1850.

Marks: Christofle. The early Christofle maker's mark which dates from 1841 - 1862. Product numbers 67257 & 67256. One is marked with the 27 and the other is 28 (The gauge of silver plate).

Condition: Excellent used antique condition with only light signs of use in keeping with age. Some light surface scratches and marks. Some light tarnish patches and spotting. Please see pictures.
