Description

A mahogany Chippendale Revival writing table by Maple & Co Of London. Having a rectangular top with three brown leather writing inserts with blind tooled detail and cross banded in flame mahogany with finely carved moulding. The front with two flame mahogany veneered drawers with solid mahogany linings and gilded Chippendale style handles. The sides and reverse of the desk also with nicely carved detail. Raised on bowed acanthus carved cabriole supports with claw and ball feet, with Maple & Co label to the drawer. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 48" wide x 30" deep x 30" high

Condition: This desk is in excellent overall condition, wear and tear to the leather commensurate with age and use and with one ring mark to the centre
