Description

A very finely made antique Anglo Indian, Kashmir silver teapot finely and elaborately decorated with scroll and floral patterns including Chinar (maple) leaves on trailing stems with unusual raised panels to either side with trailing floral designs on a fine leaf ground dating from around 1880. The teapot has a wooden mounted handle and a small wooden knop attached to the hinged cover. The teapot is not marked but tests as high quality Sterling silver.
Offered in fine used condition.
