Description

unusual mahogany hall seat constructed of the finest mahogany .Having a slightly raking back with a central shield with elaborately shaped splats ,shaped ends and tunnel finials The quality mahogany seat raised on four hexagonal faceted legs with a finely carved frieze .An almost identical bench can be found on page 337of the pictorial dictionary of English furniture .this bench is in very good condition the height to the seat is 42 cm and 91 cm to the top of the back
