Description

Small antique George III burr walnut bachelors chest of drawers in excellent condition & dating to around the 1910 period. This chest of drawers is of extremely high quality & the burr walnut veneers have beautiful bookmarked patterns running down all the drawers & inside the flap. Please enlarge all the images to see the fine details. The drawers which are all graduated in depth, have original brass handles & fine dovetails. The top section folds over & is supported by two manual loafers. There’s herring bone inlays on the edges of the top & the drawers, which are also cross banded. This chest sits on bold bracket feet & the back is solid pine. It oozes quality & has a lovely rich original colour, plus it’s full of character.
