Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1800s.
The Saint depicted wearing a shallow mitre, as he looks forward in tasselled long robes, holding in his right hand a church, signifying his establishment of the English church, in his left hand he holds a crozier, decorated with folding oak leaves. He stands on a conforming naturalistic plinth base.
