Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1950s.
It has the calibre 267 manual winding movement as used in the Battle of Britain watches.
The reference number is 2937.
It has the Omega logo on the winding crown and a genuine Omega buckle and also the Seamaster logo on the back of the case.
The case measures 35.5mm in diameter excluding the winding crown.
This is a very rare find and would not be out of place in any world class watch collection.
The watch has been fully serviced and is guaranteed to be a genuine Omega in all respects. It has been professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
It is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers parts. Each part is then thoroughly cleaned in a three stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturers approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give you reliable and dependable service and will not require further service for many years.
