Retro Emerald Cut Diamond & Ruby Ring, Circa 1950

Description

A stunning vintage ruby and diamond ring. The white and ice-clear emerald cut diamond in the centre is secured by four claws, and is accented by a pair of bright red rubies. The beautifully pierced, milgrained and engraved gallery is complemented by eight old cut diamonds, leading to a slim D-shaped shank.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30308808).

Cut – Emerald cut diamond in the centre with old cut diamonds in the surround. The rubies are baguette cuts.

Colour – The centre diamond is F. The surrounding diamonds are F to H.

Clarity – The centre diamond is SI1. The surround diamond are VS2 to SI1.

Carat – The centre diamond is approximately 0.38 carat with a total approximate carat weight of 0.54. The total approximate ruby weight is 0.31 carat.

Circa – 1950.

Size – O (UK) or 7 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The centre diamond is approximately 5.2 x 3.5mm. The ring is 13.1mm at the widest point and sits 5mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k white gold. Tested.
