Description

A lovely Georgian pair of inkwells with tops & square stands made from Sheffield plate over copper. There is the usual wear associated with early plate with the copper showing through.

The glass is beautifully cut, very deep and most tactile.

A stunning pair for your desk top both in very good condition with one minuscule chip to one base corner (insignificant but mentioned for accuracy). Each stand measures 2 5/8" x 2 5/8"; the stand & inkwell together standing 3 1/8" tall.
