Large 19th C Carved Walnut Mirror

Description

A 19th Century Carved Walnut Mirror.

The mirror with a scrolled leaf and harebell pediment, centred by a hanging leaf pendant. The mirror sweeping in two bowed steps to the vertical sides, and thence the re-entrant corners, and lower rail centred by rising and spreading leaves. The rounded rails carved with outward sweeping leaves, and finished to the corners with scrolling leaves. The frame holding the bevelled glass plate. Complete with wood back.

Date circa 1840.
