Description

A stunning and quite beautiful English sterling silver box with all over pretty repousse decoration with three vacant cartouche, a large on to the top and two smaller ones on to the front and one to the rear.

The inside is exceptional, beautifully gilded; the lid is hinged, the hinge in perfect working order and the lid fits well. The inside base is where one of the hallmarks can be found for the highly collectible Chester assay office, the year 1900 and the makers initials W.N for William Needham.

Excellent condition, measuring 5 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" tall.
