It is in good condition throughout and displays beautifully. It has been thoroughly cleaned while preserving the wonderful aged patina and has an attractive dry finish with a smooth waxed top. The drawers open well and it is generally clean and tidy inside. It is not without signs of age and use and it has had various small repairs and restorations over the years. There are some historic woodworm holes but this hasn't affected it structurally or aesthetically and they have been treated as a precaution.
