Very good quality Napoleon III rosewood and brass inlaid writing desk

This piece is French dating to around the 1870’s and is constructed from solid oak veneered with figured rosewood , the brass inlay is stunning with chased decoration highlighted with mother of pearl and ivorine , nice brass stringing and mouldings ..

This is a real statement piece as well as being very functional

Having been through our workshops been cleaned , polished all the locks are working supplies with 2 keys original marble ..
