The vase with an octagonal rim, the rim decorated with scroll work. The body of the octagonal baluster shaped vase, with a band of scrolling leaves and flowers to the shoulders, above a scene of a wild oriental garden, in which a peacock perches, and above which birds and butterflies hover. The waist spreading to a dart decorated octagonal foot, with a recessed underside.
