A good quality George III mahogany secretaire chest of drawers. The rectangular shaped top having very good figured mahogany veneer and thumb moulded edge above the secretaire drawer. The interior having 2 banks of 3 small drawers,1 long drawer and 3 pigeon holes with re-baised writing surface.The front having 4 graduated and cock-beaded drawers all retaining the original good quality brass swan neck handles and escutcheons. The whole raised on off set bracket feet with wonderful slim oak linings and dovetailed joints. The chest also benefits from working locks with keys and is in very good condition..
