Description

A 19th Century Tortoiseshell Mirror.

The mirror with a waved reeded stained pear wood outer moulding, surrounding two stepped canted panels of tortoise shell. Divided by another bank of waved reeded moulding and thence the inward canted band of waved muolding holding the bevelled glass plate.

Date c 1850.

Height 16 inches, 41cm.

Width 14 3/4 inches, 37cm.
