Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
With a cupboard over a single drawer with attractive swan neck brass drop handles. It has beautifully figured mahogany to the front and top with very good colour and patina and stands on square feet. This piece would have originally started life as a commode / chamber pot cupboard and has been converted into a side cabinet at some point. A high quality piece it would make a lovely bedside cabinet, hall cupboard or TV unit.

Good colour and patina. Small mends to veneers in places. Other general wear and marks commensurate with age. The cabinet door needs a little push to close it back into place when dropped down (not loose).
