A most unusual and rare, Edwardian, cased silver telescopic cigarette / cheroot holder. The holder is silver gilt and bears hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1901. When collapsed it fits into a small neat silver case with a lid. The case also bears the full hallmarks on the base along with the silver maker''s mark: Deakin & Francis.
A lovely item for use or for a collector, rare and unusual and fits neatly and unobstrusively into a pocket. All in great antique condition.
