Edwardian 3.22 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, Circa 1910

Description

An unbelievable Edwardian engagement ring. The extraordinary old European cut diamond in the centre weights in at an impressive 3.22 carat and is graded by HRD Antwerp as L colour, VS2 clarity. The diamond is set in a four claw collet with gorgeous scroll detailing in the gallery. The intricate shoulders features eight (four each side) eight-cut diamonds with a border of baguette cut sapphires leading to a slim, platinum band with engraving running down the shank. A wondrous ring loaded with detail and beauty.

Accompanied by a diamond grading report from HRD Antwerp (#190000156839).

Cut – Old European cut, with eight cut diamond and baguette cut sapphires in the shoulders.

Colour – L (F to G in the shoulders).

Clarity – VS2. The diamonds in the shoulders are VS1 to VS2.

Carat – The centre is a known 3.22 carat, with an approximate 0.10 carat of diamonds and 0.32 carat sapphire in the shoulders.

Circa – 1910.

Measurements – The centre diamond is 9.39 x 8.78mm and sits 5.8mm from the finger.

Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Metal – Platinum. Tested.
