Georgian Mahogany Tripod Games Table, Circa 1760

Description

Very rare early George III cuban mahogany tripod games table with circular baize lined top with four counter wells and banded edge. The bold tripod base with well turned column with swell at bottom carved with leaves and the shaped legs carved with shells and pear drops. All in superb un-touched original condition with no breaks, Wonderful rich darkish colour with great waxed patina. Possibly Irish. A stunning and rare item.

Size; 28.5" high, top 30" diameter.
