Collinge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
Large overhanging cornice supported on shaped brackets and a pair of long square columns with flared tops. Fixed centre panel with a long arch top dressing mirror. Doors with leaded glass tops retaining the original rippled red glass, over tapering panels within a chamfered surround. Tudor arch shaped apron to the front and sides of the plinth and flared feet. Original and unusual copper plated brass handles to the doors and drawers. Superior quality with solid oak sides, back and drawer linings. We believe made by Shapland & Petter for Liberty, although there is no label. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
