Milliners Hat Stretcher.

Description

This original antique wooden hat block stretcher which was originally used to manufacture hats has a wonderful rich patina and looks fantastic on display.

This handsome hat stretcher has an adjustment handle so you can adjust it's size by turning.

A very nice quality hat stretcher that looks great displaying hats and would make a super decorative shop display and wonderful prop.

Date: Early 20th century. c1900.

Height: 30 cm (11 3/4") approx.

Length: 31 cm (12 1/4") approx.

Width: 15 cm (6") approx.

Weight: 4.618 kg.

The top hat and other items are not included with this sale.

Condition: Very good antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some age related wear leaving a wonderful patina. The handle screw mechanism works well. Please see pictures.
