This Antique walnut bureau was made circa 1780.

The bureau is fitted 4 graduated drawers and stands on shaped bracket feet.

The sloping fall opens to reveal a fitted interior of a cupboard and drawers.

A very nice feature on this desk is the bookrest on the fall that allowed the owner to place a book or ledger to read without opening the fall.
