Art Deco 2.30 Carat Fire Opal & Rose Cut Diamond Ring, Circa 1940

Description

Magnificence. The stunningly bright and luminous fire opal displays a burning, bright orange. The centre stone is rubover set within a platinum double halo set with a total of fifty-eight white and clean rose cut diamonds. A further eight (four either side) rose cut diamonds are set in the platinum shoulders, leading to a slim and fluted 18k yellow gold shank. An absolute stunner.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30308766).

Cut – Cushion cut fire opal and rose cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are E to G.

Clarity – The fire opal is VS. The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.

Carat – The fire opal is approximately 2.30 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 1.32 carat.

Circa – 1940.

Size – P 1/2 (UK) or 7.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The head of the ring is 15.9 x 14.6 and sits 5mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k yellow gold and platinum.
