Reduced Oval Burr Walnut Centre Table C.1860.

Description

Mid 19th.c. burr walnut centre table c.1860 reduced in height to make a large feature coffee table to suit a period interior. Oval top with spectacular burr walnut veneers laid in symmetrical pattern onto solid mahogany groundwork. With delicate inlaid detail, a thumb moulded edge and shaped apron veneered to match. Superb solid walnut base with four turned and segmented columns around a turned finial on shaped legs with good carved detail. Top can be tipped to vertical when not in use, locking into place with the original brass catch. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Easily disassembles for delivery.
