Technical Description
 
A set of six 19th century Stevens & Williams glass goblets. Pattern number SWLSWL15. Designed by Frederick Carder and probably executed by Joshua Hodgetts. Lipped round funnel bowls with intaglio cutting and engraved flower heads above notch cut inverted baluster stems and star cut feet. Very unusual and rare to find a complete set of six.
 
Historical Relevance
 
Hand-blown around the time the German firm Bayer patented aspirin on the 6th of March 1889.
