A superb rosewood & inlaid Sheraton revival piece from around the turn of the 20thC and in very good condition, with octagonal top but having concave and serpentine cut-outs to form the pointed corners, the whole finished in highly-figured rosewood veneer, satinwood strung and with marquetry inlaid central medallion with botanical motif of sheafs, the edges moulded and ebonised, over a strung frieze with shell brackets to the supports on 4 bow-shaped legs, also with satinwood stringing, resting on brass & ceramic casters and supporting a quadruped under tier, strung and inlaid to match the top, this fine centre table will charm in a spacious entrance hall or reception room and, set-off with a dramatic floral display, it will be the envy of family & guests alike.
Width c79.5cm x Depth c77.5cm (31.25" x 30.5") but c84.5cm diameter (33.25") to the pointed corners.
Height to Top 71.5cm (28") & Height to U/Tier 30cm (12")
