Antique English Heart Shaped Pill Box in Sterling Silver - 1905

Description

A charming and very romantic heart shaped pill box made from English sterling silver and dating to the Edwardian era.

The hinged lid fits well with it's domed lid and pretty repousse decoration with a vacant cartouche to the centre. The interior is blessed with a lavish gilded finish.

The underside is where the full English hallmark can be found for Birmingham 1905 together with the makers mark for Henry Matthews.

Excellent condition measuring 1 3/4" x 1 1/2" x 5/8".
