The outer of the top half is covered in rich dark brown genuine leather, there is a sight level on both sides and the flask is a nice medium size so it slips into a pocket nicely, making it a wonderfully tactile and usable item.
The detachable cup has a gilded interior. The bayonet top cap seals well and does not leak.

Condition: In excellent antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. A very clean and tidy flask. The hinged lid closes perfectly with no leaks. The cup slides on and off of the flask well and stays firmly in place. The leather is in sound condition but does have some scuffs, marks and wear. The silver and glass is in very good condition with no splits, dents, chips or damage. Hallmark is slightly rubbed but can be read.
