A Superb Quality Satinwood Edwardian Period Sheraton Revival Display Cabinet with Painted Decoration

Description

A Superb Quality satinwood Edwardian Period Sheraton Revival display cabinet with painted decoration. The upper section with a domed top with Greek key applied moulding above the polychrome decorated frieze and having a central astragal glazed door with finely carved glazing bars, which opens to reveal a silk lined interior with glazed sides and ends and acanthus carved and fluted column supports. The lower section is of slight bow front outline having a central mahogany lined drawer with fine quality brass handles with finely carved apron. The whole supported on carved and fluted supports united by a painted under tier. Although un-marked it is a cabinet known to have been made by Maple & Co of London. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 73" high x 44" wide x 16" deep

Condition: This cabinet is in superb original condition, cleaned and waxed

A Superb Quality satinwood Edwardian Period Sheraton Revival display cabinet with painted decoration.
