Six 19th.c Ladder Back Cottage Dining Chairs C.1860

Description

Set of six mid 19th.c ladder back cottage dining chairs c.1860. Low backs with four shaped rungs between turned stiles with nipple tops. Woven rush seats raised on turned front legs with shaped tops and pad feet, joined with a turned front stretcher. Double stretchers at the sides and rear for extra strength. Wear to a couple of the seats, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
