The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
Gilded decoration around the edge of the reserve and spilling around the sides of the vase and gilded rim. Printed mark "CHAMBERLAIN'S WORCESTER" c.1840.

It measures 14cm (5 1/2") high and 8cm (3 1/8") wide.
Condition is very good with no damage or restoration. Some rubbing to the gilding at the rim and a little here are there around the vignette. A few very minor scratches to the burgundy ground, mainly to the lower part of the back and minimally detracting. It would have clearly had a porcelain stopper but this has been lost over the years as is often the case.
