Description

A stunning antique French gilded bronze / Ormolu picture frame beautifully restored to it's former glory.

The top is crowned with a ribbon and bow mount and behind the glass are stunning bronze mounts set with period paste stones sitting on an eau de nil silk taffeta , a truly glamorous look; the back is covered in an coordinating teal faux suede covering.

The frame stands on a shaped folding easel stand; the top of the frame stamped A.F.

A superb frame and in excellent condition with an overall measurement of 8 3/4" x 6 3/4" x 3/4" the oval aperture measuring approximately 4 5/8" x 3 1/2". Dating to c.1900.
