The leather has been sympathetically aged and secured with hundreds of single solid brass tacks - the upholsterer is a master at placing these. The front castors are original, the pair to the rear were made to order by a small foundry and then aged to match. The leather cushion is feather filled.The fine carved detail and decoration is typical of this sought after period in English furniture.
