Very fine George III Scottish oak cased grandfather clock with 8 day striking movement with rolling moon in arch by one of the leading Scottish provincial clockmakers George Lumsden of Pittenween (Fife) who was renowned for making his own top quality movements. The oak case in pristine un-touched original condition. Has finely cast corinthian capital to hood pillars and its original shaped ogee bracket feet. The movement recently overhauled and in perfect working order. Note the painted pendulum bob. Great honey colour with fine waxed patina. Comes with all keys. As good as you get of its kind.
