Antique Kurdish kelleh long rug with dragon border.

Circa 1900

A very good quality rug with excellent colour, the rug is very well drawn with an all over repeat design of shrubs and small birds. The main border is an outstanding feature of this rug being a good example of the dragon design.

The rug has slight even wear and good pile, the rug has a very firm handle and is suitable for heavy domestic use.

Hand washed and ready for use or display.
