A fine Japanese Meiji period Satsuma pottery vase beautifully decorated with a continuous scene around the body it depicts the cherry blossom by a lake with three women collecting eggs in the foreground and a family strolling in the background. This splendid vase is full of colour (I especially like the turquoise) and the border-work is especially good, it is signed Sozan to the base and is in Excellent condition with no damage or restoration standing 6 inches tall.
