Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1850s.
The canterbury with downward swept rails, forming three divisions, each with flat side uprights. The lower body with a cockbeaded, mahogany lined drawer mounted with a rosette decorated brass knob. The Canterbury standing on four ringed and tapering legs, finished with brass cup castors.
In excellent condition throughout and of good hard, close grained, mahogany.
