Elmgarden has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.

The Wardrobe has three large cupboards, it is inspired in every detail from the Copper hinges and handles to the stylised design of the gothic carving, on the centre door a panel with entwined initials ’S’ & ‘W’ and the date 1902 carved on the side doors

The left hand cupboard has brass hanging hooks, a mirror inside the door and a 2 piece umbrella rack, the centre cupboard has a hat shelf at the top, brass coat hooks and an extending rail in the centre, the right hand cupboard has a stick stand on the door

All in all a very fine piece of design all stamped Gillow and the London Owl for Liberty
The wardrobe is a one piece item it is set on casters so it is movable once in it is in place, there is no key but other wise it is in very good condition, with only a little damage to the side cornice and it is very heavy

The wardrobe is 78” tall, 62” wide and 20” wide at the side, (33” in the centre)
