A 19th Century French Carved Gilt Wood Stool

Description

A 19th Century French Carved Gilt wood stool. Each end having finely carved gilt wood detail with padded supports and a sprung serpentine seat. With finely carved detail to the show frame and supported on acanthus carved gilded supports, newly re-upholstered in Clarke and Clarke majestic garnet velvet with double piping. This stool is carved on both side so can be used free standing in the centre of a room. English circa 1880-1900

Dimensions: 45" wide x 36" high x 22" deep (seat height 19")

Condition: This stool is in excellent original condition
