Edwardian Hinged Silver Photo Frame 1903

1900 - 1920
Description

This very unusual SILVER MOUNTED PHOTO FRAME was made by William Devenport in 1903.

The velvet backed hinged frame is mounted with silver with a pierced floral, scroll and trellis decoration and has apertures for three various sized (see Dimensions) photos.

In excellent condition (See Condition Report) despite being over 115 years old, this superb Silver Photo Frame would look stunning in any setting.

Condition:

Used / Excellent

There are no repairs.

Slight loss of silver to top corner – nothing much but mentioned for accuracy.

Cartouches are slightly dented.

Some fading to the velvet backing.

Dimensions:

Height – 9.0” (225mm) / Width – 8.25” (210mm)

Photo Sizes: 3.25” x 5.0” / 2.25 x 3.5” / 1.75” x 2.5”
